And it began

Eventually after so much hard work we were ready to launch my cosmetics line. Sephora in the US offered to carry my line in over a hundred of their North American stores so a huge launch party was planned at their new store opening at 5 Times Square in New York

I was so excited but also very nervous at the same time. This was the first time I would get the chance to meet some of the people in person who had been watching me on YouTube.

The launch party was a great success and I met lots of lovely people, I couldn't believe this was all happening to someone like me. It's funny because even though all of this was happening to me I still lived at home with my Mam and spent most of the time in my bedroom answering emails and making videos.

The BBC followed me for around three months shooting a documentary about my story and I even got used to them being in my bedroom when I was making videos. I've kept every email, note and gift that people have sent me. Some people even send me drawings, which is nice.

I keep a scrapbook of all the press clippings and photos and try to get keepsakes from all the things I do. I still look at them now and think wow did that really happen. I also take nothing for granted and appreciate every moment.

Another highlight of my journey so far was when I was invited to travel across America on a road trip. I started in Miami and Twittered to people along the way, many of which came to see me at various events. I travelled in a huge pink tour bus with my name on it, which is actually quite weird and cool at the same time.
